Jumping off again . . . into a new Village

I chose to jump off another treadmill . . . in Kenya.  Because yes even in Kenya, the treadmill life is reproducible.  A life that is that is very comfortable – physically, emotionally and spiritually.  I wanted to get a taste of a new village and be more immersed in Swahili.

The Road Less Traveled

Wednesdays are my favorite day of the week.  I get to be a part of the Bridge of Hope team of volunteers in City Heights who help assist families in transition with clothing, food, furniture, and other household items. Transition can mean many things: families leaving homeless and domestic violence shelters, families facing crisis, and refugees relocating from around the world.
